Job summary

Henkel Corporation in the United States seeks a process improvement specialist to reduce losses and elevate performance on the shop floor across Laundry & Home Care and Hair products.

You will lead problem solving workshops, define equipment standards, and collaborate with line management to prioritize improvements, spending about 80% on-floor solving stops and driving data-driven enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
• Lead and build the capability of Problem Solving (Lead Problem Solving Workshops).
• Define and improve (via Problem Solving) the equipment standards (CL, CILT, DH, TBM).
• Work with training manager to close capability gaps of the Operators ensuring the team can execute the improved equipment standards (CL, CILT, TBM).
• Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities (top losses).
• Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters.
• Regular monitoring of the area regarding centerline, defects and standards & development of improvement plans.
• Become a technical expert for a designated process.
• Spend 80% of his/her time on the floor (mainly) working on Problem Solving to kill stops.
