Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Technician X-Ray at Pinto Valley Mine in Arizona. The role focuses on operating, calibrating, and maintaining the on-stream X-ray analyzer (OSA) to support metallurgical monitoring and process reliability.

You will collect samples, perform measurements, and work with Mill, Maintenance, and Laboratory teams to ensure safe, compliant operations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of mill concentrator experience where possible, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in mill concentrator operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain the on-stream X-ray analyzer (OSA) for process monitoring.
• Collect mill shift samples and OSA calibration samples for lab analysis.
• Troubleshoot analyzer, sampling, and process-stream issues to maintain reliability.
• Document issues and communicate with Metallurgy, Mill, and Maintenance teams.
• Follow safety procedures and site SOPs; participate in pre-employment medical and routine checks.
