Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is seeking a Technician X-Ray to operate and calibrate the on-stream X-ray analyzer, perform mill shift sample collection, and support metallurgical testing. The role requires working with the Lab, Metallurgy, and Maintenance teams to ensure reliable process monitoring and equipment availability.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least one year in mill concentrator operations, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of mill concentrator operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, etc.).
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate the on-stream X-ray analyzer (OSA) to support process monitoring.
• Maintain the OSA and associated sample delivery systems and components.
• Collect and prepare mill shift samples and OSA calibration samples for analysis.
• Document issues and communicate equipment concerns to Metallurgy, Mill and Maintenance teams.
• Work with multiple departments to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.
