Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a high school diploma/GED.
• Two years experience in child and youth development, education, or comparable setting required.
• Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and the physical ability to act in an emergency situation.
• Physical ability to lead activities such as sports, games, academic assistance, assemblies, transitions, and other program activities.

Aufgaben

• Oversee on-site management, staff and student supervision, and program planning in alignment with grant goals and YMCA policies.
• Supervise program staff and participants to ensure safety and guidance at all times.
• Recruit students and market the program to ensure capacity.
• Provide positive behavior guidance supporting development, social-emotional needs, and physical activity.
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, and district partners for coordinated services and relationships.
• Manage administrative duties including budget, monthly paperwork, attendance, staff development, and compliance.
• Handle daily program operations, setup, management, and closing of the expanded learning program.
• Ensure space is maintained, organized, clean, and safe.
