Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for on-site work at the VA Portland Health Care System Vancouver Campus in Vancouver, WA. The role entails patient preparation, radiographic imaging, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Qualified candidates have ARRT certification, a current BLS card, two years of radiology experience, and proven English proficiency.

U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain public trust are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating diagnostic radiology equipment under a Radiologist.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain public trust.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect staff from radiation hazards.
• Select radiographic factors and position patients for requested views.
• Document patient data in DHCP and ensure image quality.
• Maintain exam room, restock supplies, and ensure infection control standards.
• Provide after-hours support as part of on-call radiology team.
• Perform diverse radiologic exams as directed by radiologists.
