Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a CT Technologist for on-site work at the VA Portland Health Care System in Portland, Oregon. The role involves operating CT and Angio suites, preparing contrast materials under radiologist direction, and ensuring accurate order processing and documentation.

The candidate should have ARRT and BLS certifications and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Qualified applicants will manage imaging studies, maintain infection control, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Two years of CT experience with advanced CT applications.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day safe operation of the CT/Angio environment.
• Performs CT imaging including angiography and interventional procedures as requested.
• Records radiation doses and prepares dose summaries.
• Reviews radiology orders for accuracy and coordinates with radiologists and staff.
• Maintains sterile technique and infection control while preparing contrast materials.
