Prometheus Federal Services, a trusted partner of federal health agencies, seeks a CT Technologist for on-site work at the VA Portland Health Care System in Vancouver, WA.

The role includes operating CT imaging, preparing contrast under radiologist direction, adhering to safety and infection-control policies, and coordinating with radiology staff to ensure timely, high-quality exams. ARRT certification, BLS, and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in English (reading/writing).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day safe CT/Angio operation.
• Prepares contrast materials under radiologist direction.
• Records radiation doses in the dose report system.
• Interprets radiology requests for accuracy and sequences exams.
• Performs CT imaging across head to pelvis and interventional CT when required.
• Maintains infection control and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Identifies, analyzes, and responds to patient conditions and exam findings.
• Coordinates with radiology staff to optimize exam scheduling and workflow.
