Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is recruiting an X-Ray Technologist for on-site work at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Salem, Oregon. The role involves preparing patients, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring patient safety and data accuracy within the Diagnostic Imaging Service.

Requirements include ARRT certification, BLS from the American Heart Association, fluency in English, and authorization to work in the U.S. with ability to obtain public trust.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS certification required through American Heart Association.
• Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain public trust.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients and staff from radiation hazards.
• Adjusts radiographic controls and positions patients to obtain quality images per physician requests.
• Operates radiographic equipment and processes films/images; enters data into DHCP.
• Maintains exam room cleanliness, safety, and infection control; assists in scheduling and patient communication.
