Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Workplace Manager to lead day-to-day facilities operations for a global fintech client on-site in South San Francisco, CA. You will manage maintenance, engineering services, and vendor relationships while guiding on-site teams to deliver exceptional workplace experiences.

The role requires strong communication, project coordination, and budget oversight, with some after-hours support for events and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in third-party facilities management or workplace services.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading facility teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of facility operations including maintenance, engineering, workplace experience and vendor management.
• Lead and develop on-site teams including Workplace Coordinators and technical staff.
• Serve as primary point of contact for local leadership on workplace and facilities matters.
• Implement site-specific workplace strategies aligned with global standards and local requirements.
• Manage site budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety regulations and policies.
