Job summary

Hotwire Communications is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead all aspects of new site construction, on-site management, project coordination, safety and quality assurance. You will drive site visits, track progress, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure installations meet required standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate project records, managing budgets, reading blueprints, and supporting scheduling and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of telecommunications/wireless construction experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience with Wireless, Wi-Fi, Fiber & Copper installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with construction management, outside plant (aerial & underground), site acquisition and permitting.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and/or as‑builts.
• Knowledge of telco, power, fiber, basic construction and vendor equipment requirements.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Update tracking systems to reflect project status, including third-party systems (Salesforce, OSP, Excel).
• Maintain up-to-date project tracking with complete accuracy.
• Make regular site visits during construction (bid walk, pre-construction, punch walks, closeout).
• Provide regular status updates to impacted departments and supervisors.
• Maintain records and distribute closeout documents per standards.
• Act as safety observer and QA representative on site to ensure safety and workmanship compliance.
• Ensure compliant installation of coax, fiber, antennas and hardware in venues of various sizes.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to service issues and coordinate restorations.
• Perform office management tasks such as supply ordering, shipments, event coordination, and travel planning.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
