Job summary

Dillman & Upton is seeking a Window & Door Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair issues at customer homes and job sites, delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship. You will troubleshoot problems, implement solutions, and ensure projects meet our standards.

This full-time role requires driving a service vehicle, operating tools, and documenting service activities while upholding safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of construction, remodeling, or home improvement experience preferred; window and door knowledge is a plus.
• Working knowledge of construction and installation practices, preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a service vehicle, power tools, and jobsite equipment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately document service activities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair warranty and non-warranty window and door issues at customer homes and job sites.
• Assess field conditions, determine appropriate solutions, and gather information needed to order replacement parts.
• Accurately document service findings and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
• Maintain and safeguard company issued assets, including service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow established safety standards while maintaining a safe and professional work environment at all customer locations.
