Job summary

Erie Materials is seeking a Field Service Technician - Windows and Doors to provide high-quality service for manufactured windows and doors. The role requires daily travel to customer homes and job sites, maintaining professional appearance and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and documenting work. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid NYS or PA driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive to service calls at customer homes and other job-site locations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with product manufacturing or installation.
• Repair wood and vinyl windows and doors in a timely fashion.
• Remove and replace glass from the window sash following safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of parts in the service van and keep jobsite clean.
