Job summary

Window World of Paducah is seeking a full-time Window and Door Service Technician to diagnose and repair replacement windows and doors, measure products for orders, and deliver excellent customer service. This field-based role involves several service calls and measurements daily, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, or repairing replacement windows and doors.
• Ability to accurately measure replacement windows and entry doors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedule and prepare service van with required parts and materials.
• Travel throughout Window World of Paducah's service area, within approx. a 1.5-hour radius of the Paducah office.
• Diagnose and repair window and door issues including sashes, glass packs, locks, weatherstripping, screens, hardware, balances.
• Accurately measure replacement windows and entry doors for orders.
• Complete several customer appointments per day while working independently in the field.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service and explain repair options to homeowners.
• Document completed work and customer approvals using the CRM system.
• Maintain an organized service van and report vehicle maintenance needs.
• Assist in the warehouse or other operations during slower periods.
• Refer installation work requiring major replacement to the installation team.
• Identify sales opportunities and potential commissions for qualified referrals.
