Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a skilled Wind Farm Maintenance Manager to oversee site maintenance, safety, and performance at the West Camp Wind facility in Arizona. The role requires coordinating O&M activities, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Ideal candidates have five years in plant maintenance or operations, wind experience, and familiarity with Vestas turbines.

Qualifications

Five years of experience in plant maintenance or operations.
Wind energy experience preferred; Vestas turbine familiarity is a plus.
Strong safety culture and adherence to standards.
Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Willingness to travel and work irregular hours as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee site maintenance activities and ensure compliance with the Vestas Full-Service agreement.
Plan and manage contractor work for BOP and turbine repair.
Monitor maintenance schedules, reliability, and project costs for efficiency.
Ensure site safety and environmental training programs are implemented.
Attend daily POD meetings and coordinate OEM tasks at the wind facility.
