Wieland North America, Inc is hiring an Assembler/Equipment Operator I in Delaware, OH. The role focuses on fabricating and finishing components per detailed drawings while meeting quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with PPE. The position is on-site, with a starting pay of $23.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, biweekly pay, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds with PPE.
• Ability to use standard hand and power tools.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Following production orders, procedures and supervisor directions to prepare parts and assemble components.
• Use power tools or specialized equipment to assemble pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Prepare parts by grinding, blasting, cutting metals, etc.
• Assemble according to procedures while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance as instructed.
• Propose new methods or equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
