Job summary

Manitou Group in Yankton, SD is seeking a skilled welder for 1st shift to safely weld, assemble and repair heavy mechanical products per blueprints and work orders. You will set up and operate welding equipment, read specifications, and maintain quality while lifting up to 50 lbs; basic Weld Certification required and willingness to train.

This onsite role offers competitive pay starting at $25 per hour plus 15% shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must have basic Weld Certification.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Physically capable, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts.
• Willingness to train or work outside scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform weld duties as specified.
• Weld components per procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
• Set up and layout work using fixtures to repair or fabricate parts/equipment.
• Operate related equipment such as forklifts, hoists, torches, drills, punches, and tape measure.
• Read and follow job orders, prints and procedures; maintain safety and cleanliness.
