Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of construction inspection or RPR experience, preferably on water or wastewater projects.
• Exposure to treatment systems such as pumping, piping, valves, filtration, or chemical feed systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineer as an on-site representative, monitoring progress and quality for water and wastewater facilities.
• Attend progress meetings and document key discussions, decisions, and actions.
• Prepare daily reports documenting construction activities, equipment installation, and site conditions.
• Track and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, equipment deliveries, and correspondence.
• Review submittals related to process equipment, mechanical systems, and materials.
• Perform routine field inspections to verify construction aligns with plans and specs.
• Observe installation of treatment systems, including pumps, piping, valves, and chemical feed systems.
• Assist in testing activities and report findings to the Engineer.
• Identify and document non-conforming work and support resolution with the project team.
• Assist in reviewing contractor pay applications by verifying installed quantities and progress.
• Support preparation of progress reports for internal and client meetings.
