Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Orlando team. The role focuses on on-site inspection of utility and infrastructure construction, ensuring quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, and alignment with design intent.

As the Owner's Representative, you will document field conditions, support coordination among contractors and engineers, and assist with progress reporting. This position requires strong attention to detail and experience with water/wastewater

Qualifications

5+ years of construction inspection or RPR experience, preferably on water or wastewater treatment plant projects.
Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal review processes.
Strong attention to detail with ability to document field conditions clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

Support the Engineer as on-site representative, monitoring progress and quality of water and wastewater facilities.
Coordinate with construction managers, contractors, and client representatives to support project delivery.
Attend progress meetings and document key discussions, decisions, and actions.
Prepare daily reports documenting activities, equipment installation, and site conditions.
Review submittals related to process equipment and mechanical systems.
Perform routine field inspections to verify plans and specs are followed.
