Job summary

Veolia | Water Tech seeks an Asset Care Service Technician to install and service water purification systems at customer sites. You will deliver, set up and exchange ion exchange tanks for commercial and industrial applications, while maintaining equipment and meeting safety standards.

You will work on a range of tasks from loading tanks to conducting water tests and performing maintenance. On-call duty may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in water treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer sites to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment.
• Load/unload tanks and maintain inventory on trucks.
• Complete Vehicle Inspection Reports before trips.
• Take water samples and record tests (TDS, resistivity, pH, CO2, Cl2, hardness).
• Rinse ion exchange tanks to customer specs and ensure quality.
• Perform dry and wet ion exchange tank exchanges; basic maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe vehicles and job sites.
• Follow Veolia Water Tech EHS policies and procedures and communicate changes.
• Assist with equipment delivery outside normal scope when needed.
• May be on call during non-business hours.
