Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Fastener Group in Fitchburg, MA. You will lead a team of 9-12, manage material handling, receiving, WIP and FG shipping with accuracy, and drive safety, quality, and cost initiatives.

Based on prior experience, you will participate in weekly inventory reporting and continuous improvement activities. The role is on-site at the Fitchburg facility, with a focus on suppressing waste and enabling reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics or material planning.
• 2 years of experience supervising others.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Familiarity with MS Excel/Google Suite and business systems (TMS, MFGpro, CLS, MES, Fastrack).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team meetings and manage a shipping/material handling team of 9-12 direct reports.
• Oversee material handling, receiving, WIP, and FG shipping with transactional accuracy.
• Ensure weekly inventory reporting and timely freight claim processing.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost-reduction objectives.
• Support site improvement plans using Enterprise Lean Sigma to reduce waste.
