Job summary

RMGS, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Specialist II for Camp Pendleton, CA. This role requires 3+ years in warehousing and hands-on GCSS-MC experience, with forklift operation and strong inventory control skills.

The position is contingent upon contract award and requires on-site work Monday–Friday during standard hours. The candidate must be local to the performance site, capable of obtaining and maintaining base access, and able to operate MHE up to 10,000 pounds while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCSS-MC system is required.
• 3+ years of warehouse/supply experience.
• 1+ year GCSS-MC experience.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain it is required; must meet installation rules for safe operation.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling.
• Ability to operate MHE and forklifts up to 10,000 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work with government and contractor teams.
• Effective communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to lift/move materials as needed.
• Ability to use PPE as required.
• Ability to access GCSS-MC accounts for the duration of performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and issue materials against receiving documents and bills of lading.
• Route materials to storage areas and palletize as prescribed.
• Conduct wall-to-wall inventories and report discrepancies.
• Remove materials from storage and prepare for shipment or issue.
• Operate MHE, forklifts up to 10,000 pounds, pallet trucks, and manual carts.
• Assist in warehouse setup, reconfiguration, and relocation.
• Maintain records and input data into GCSS-MC.
• Track government property and coordinate replenishment or disposal of excess materials.
• Participate in physical inventories and location surveys.
• Escort delivery trucks as required.
• Perform clerical warehousing duties and assist customers at the material issue point.
• Certify accuracy of material received and issue validation to government stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory location systems for easy retrieval.
• Ensure over-the-counter forms are filled and signed.
• Support operation and maintenance of government-owned MHE.
