Job summary

RMGS, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist II to join our on-site team at Camp Pendleton, CA. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and issuing materials, with heavy emphasis on GCSS-MC usage and inventory integrity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehousing, at least 1 year with GCSS-MC, and valid forklift operating credentials. This position is contingent upon contract award and requires local candidates with on-site work availability.

Qualifications

  • GCSS-MC knowledge and hands-on use in government inventory contexts.
  • 3+ years in warehouse or supply roles, with 1+ year GCSS-MC experience.
  • Forklift license or ability to obtain; compliant with installation rules.
  • Experience in inventory control and material handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and issue materials against receiving documents and bills of lading.
  • Route materials to storage locations and palletize as needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies or damage.
  • Operate MHE including forklifts up to 10,000 pounds.
  • Assist in warehouse setup and stocking; maintain GCSS-MC data.
  • Track government property and coordinate replenishment or disposal.
  • Participate in physical inventories and location surveys.
  • Certify material receipts and issue validation to stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and comply with security requirements.

Job description

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Warehouse Specialist II in Camp Pendleton, CA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and issue materials against receiving documents and bills of lading.
  • Route materials to prescribed storage locations; store, stack, or palletize materials according to prescribed methods.
  • Conduct inventory management, including wall-to-wall inventories, reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies or damage.
  • Remove materials from storage and prepare for shipment or issue.
  • Operate Material-Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts (up to 10,000 pounds), pallet trucks, hand trucks, and stakebed trucks.
  • Assist in warehouse setup, reconfiguration, and relocation, including assembling shelving and stocking shelves.
  • Maintain accurate records and input data into the Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC).
  • Track government property, recommend stock adjustments, and coordinate replenishment or disposal of excess/obsolete materials.
  • Participate in physical inventories and location surveys.
  • Escort delivery trucks as required.
  • Perform clerical warehousing duties, including processing receipts, maintaining shop stores inventory, and assisting customers at the material issue point.
  • Certify the accuracy of material received and issue validation to government stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update inventory location systems for ease of retrieval and issue.
  • Ensure over-the-counter forms are correctly filled and signed.
  • Support the operation and maintenance of government-owned MHE.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge and experience with GCSS-MC required.
  • 3+ years warehouse/supply; 1+ year GCSS-MC
  • Forklift license (or ability to obtain) required; must meet government installation-specific requirements for safe operation.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling.
  • Ability to operate MHE and motor forklifts up to a 10,000-pound lift capacity.
  • Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with government and contractor teams.
  • Effective communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required by warehouse operations.
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment (coveralls, boots, eye/ear protection, gloves, construction helmets) as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain active user accounts and roles within GCSS-MC for the entire period of performance.
