Job summary

Dawsonohana is seeking a Warehouse / Mailroom Supervisor in Charleston, SC to manage logistics operations in support of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's training mission. The role includes supervising warehouse and mailroom personnel, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and maintaining inventory control. A strong background in warehouse operations and logistics, as well as supervisory experience, is required. This position offers Health & Welfare benefits and a base rate of $25.00/HR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or mailroom operations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role overseeing personnel.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems, shipping/receiving processes, and mail handling procedures.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems for tracking, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Supply/Warehouse Manager in overseeing logistics operations.
• Supervise personnel in the Shipping and Receiving Warehouse and FLETC Post Office.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.
• Oversee operations including receiving, shipping, and mail handling.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory and shipping operations.
