Job summary

DAWSON is seeking a Warehouse / Mailroom Supervisor in Charleston, SC to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's mission. You will manage all aspects of warehouse and mailroom operations, supervise personnel, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control and logistics coordination, and must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. A strong organizational and supervisory background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or mailroom operations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role overseeing personnel.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Supply/Warehouse Manager in overseeing warehouse and logistics operations.
• Supervise personnel in the Shipping and Receiving Warehouse and FLETC Post Office.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of discrepancies and damages.
• Monitor employee performance and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
