Job summary

CompTech Computer Technologies seeks an experienced Video Telecommunications Specialist – Level II to support DHA at JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, TX on-site. Responsible for VTC/AV systems, troubleshooting, conference coordination, and end-user training. Requires hands-on VTC support, strong customer service, and the ability to resolve issues with minimal disruption.

Secret clearance is required. Salary includes hourly wage plus health & welfare allowances.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in video telecommunications, VTC support, audiovisual technology, or related field.
• Hands-on experience supporting VTC and enterprise AV systems.
• Experience troubleshooting conference room AV/VTC equipment and resolving issues.
• Experience setting up, testing, operating, and supporting video conferencing sessions.
• Experience coordinating or scheduling VTC sessions, conference rooms, or AV resources.
• Ability to diagnose audio, video, connectivity, hardware, and peripheral issues.
• Experience documenting incidents and resolutions through a ticketing system.
• Ability to provide technical instruction and training to end users on AV/VTC equipment.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate-level technical support for VTC, AV, and conference room systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot VTC and conference room equipment, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Initiate and manage trouble tickets for escalation or additional support.
• Perform video capture and transfer to media streaming servers.
• Support setup, operation, testing, and monitoring of VTC/AV equipment for meetings and events.
• Verify conference room systems are operational prior to sessions.
• Coordinate with users and technical teams for conference connectivity.
• Provide end-user training on AV/VTC equipment.
• Assist customers during live VTC sessions and resolve issues with minimal disruption.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
