Job summary

Wurth Industry US is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support VMI program execution on-site. You will coordinate project activities, manage material presentation, and train customer personnel to ensure a smooth transition.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project timelines and successful deployment. The position involves on-site responsibilities, travel up to 60%, and close collaboration with customers to optimize inventory

Qualifications

• College degree in business or supply chain preferred, or equivalent two years of industry work experience.
• Experience in project coordination, implementation, or supply chain/logistics preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data entry, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in physical implementation tasks.
• Travel to customer sites up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager in executing on-site customer-related implementation tasks.
• Assist in on-site sample collection and bin fill level to ensure economical ordering quantities.
• Assist in on-site customer implementation meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in project plan updates and project budget adherence.
• Work with external stakeholders to define material presentation and design of VMI program.
• Provide ongoing project updates to project manager or stakeholders.
• Coordinate delivery of assets needed for VMI setup (racks, bins, labels).
• Provide initial upload files for CPS program and input into bin management software.
