Job summary

Huntington Theatre Company seeks a House Sound Engineer for the Calderwood Pavilion. You will operate, program, and maintain audio systems for a range of productions, collaborating with the Huntington Sound Department and rental clients.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in audio for live productions.
• Experience with analog and digital sound equipment installation and operation.
• Familiarity with QLab, Dante, OSC, and MIDI.
• Ability to read and execute sound plans and work with stage rigging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize audio/video equipment and systems.
• Program and run live mixes; take and execute show notes.
• Supervise freelance crew and coordinate with rental users.
• Assist with special events and rentals as needed.
• Open/close facility and participate in maintenance tasks.
