Job summary

Bildt is seeking a VDC Intern in Oshkosh, WI to gain hands-on experience in modular building systems fabrication and digital coordination. You’ll develop and update Revit models, assist with clash detection in Navisworks, and learn how designs translate to manufacturing realities on the shop floor.

You’ll work closely with project managers, designers, and production teams, supported by mentors across Boldt's nationwide internship network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program.
• Passion and desire to work in the construction industry.
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls.
• Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development.
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience supporting the design, coordination, and fabrication of modular building systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to develop and update Revit models and shop drawings.
• Assist with clash detection and design coordination using Navisworks and Autodesk Model Coordination.
• Help resolve issues before manufacturing begins and apply real-world insights to improve project deliverables.
