Job summary

CRB in Raleigh, NC seeks a VDC Technician Intern to join our design team on real projects. You'll work under a mentor to develop and review project documents, create views, run audits, and support disciplines across MEP, Architecture, and Automation.

This internship offers hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360, exposure to both renovations and new construction, and collaboration with industry leaders to drive innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in CAD, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
• Interest in Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
• Willingness to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (calculations, reports, drawings and specifications) in coordination with regulatory bodies.
• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under project lead.
• Coordinating with other disciplines and team members (vendors, clients, contractors).
