Job summary

MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc. seeks an on-site Power Rent Solutions Project Manager to plan, mobilize, and execute complex utility projects.

You will coordinate customer requests, vendor scheduling, and technician availability, acting as the primary site interface with customers and partners. The role requires a technical background in generators, switchgear, and grid-support systems, with leadership experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related technical field (EE) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a technical role focused on generators, switchgear, synchronization controls, and grid support systems.
• 1-3 years in management or leadership roles.
• 1-3 years in client or vendor management.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E and energized/high voltage safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate complex utility solutions within the Power Rent business.
• Monitor project schedule to ensure startup readiness.
• Serve as site supervisor and primary interface with customer and partners.
• Address technical and application questions for consulting engineers and service teams.
• Assist staff with troubleshooting and product issue resolution.
• Prepare job safety plans and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Build training programs for utility technicians and develop materials to mastery level.
