Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Treasury Operations Manager to lead day-to-day Treasury Management Operations on-site in California. The role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage client and business partner escalations while ensuring compliance with bank policies.

You will oversee operational support for treasury products, drive process improvements, manage cross-functional projects, and mentor a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 7 years Treasury management, banking operations, payments, or related financial services experience required.
• 3 years Direct leadership experience required.
• Experience in a complex, regulated bank environment preferred.
• CTP/AAP/NCP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily Treasury Management Operations activities and maintain service quality and productivity.
• Oversee onboarding, account services, payments, entitlements, and maintenance activities.
• Lead risk and audit management, including regulatory examinations and third-party audits.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and business leaders on controls and remediation.
• Lead enterprise projects, change management, and cross-functional vendor initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Treasury Management Operations team.
• Resolve complex client and partner escalations with durable improvements.
