Job summary

SEO Scholars in New York is seeking a Site Assistant to support Summer Academy operations on-site at partner campuses (Baruch College and LIU Brooklyn) with occasional NYC office or Zoom-based orientations. This part-time, seasonal role reports to the Operations Coordinator and runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM on scheduled Saturdays and program days.

• Able to lift and carry boxes up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check in scholars, instructors, and staff; direct participants to spaces.
• Set up program technology: attendance tracker, scanners, Zoom chat.
• Track inventory and distribute items such as Metrocards and materials.
• Distribute scholar lunches and support end-of-day procedures.
• Foster an energetic and engaging program culture for students.
