Job summary

NexusTek in the United States, McAllen, TX is seeking an on-site IT Support Engineer to deliver Tier I/II client support across Windows servers, networking, and end-user devices. You’ll troubleshoot AD, DNS, Meraki VPN, Cisco routers, Office 365, and hardware while coordinating with the account team to tailor client solutions.

The role requires physical work (up to 50lbs) and close collaboration with a client. Competitive starting wage and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Tier I and II client support.
• Troubleshoot Windows server issues, AD, DNS, VMware, backup, and DR.
• Troubleshoot networking issues including Meraki VPN and Cisco devices.
• Troubleshoot workstation and mobile devices, Office 365, Windows 10/11.
• Install, configure, and deploy end-user workstations.
• Coordinate with account team to advise clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II consultative client support.
• Troubleshoot Windows server issues (Active Directory, DNS, VMware, backup, DR).
• Troubleshoot networking issues (Meraki VPN/firewalls, Cisco routers/switches).
• Troubleshoot workstation and mobile devices (Office 365, Windows 10/11).
• Install, configure, and deploy workstations for end users.
• Coordinate with the account team to make client recommendations.
• Lift up to 50lbs, crawl to reach equipment, move cables.
