Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment onsite in Andover, MA. The role requires ability to obtain interim DoD security clearance and eventual DoD 8140/8570 certification, with up to 10% travel.

You will work with Cybersecurity to meet security compliance, install and configure applications, and ensure 24x7 system availability in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• University degree or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must obtain interim DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Must obtain DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) within a reasonable time.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and clients.
• Experience with Windows administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration in Windows and RedHat Linux environments.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Troubleshoot moderate to high scope technical issues including hardware OS integration.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity to maintain security compliance.
• Install and configure software requested by end users.
• On-site, travel up to 10% domestically.
