Job summary

ZenitechCS in Chicago is seeking a System Administrator to maintain and support client and internal IT infrastructure, including servers, endpoints, identity systems, cloud services, backups, and networks. You will troubleshoot issues, implement changes, and document configurations to ensure reliable and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in CS/IT preferred.
• 2+ years in systems or network administration, infrastructure support, or related role.
• Certs such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Azure, 365, VMware, Cisco are a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Security-focused, detail-oriented with ability to explain technical info clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and support client and internal IT infrastructure (servers, endpoints, identity, cloud, backups, networks).
• Troubleshoot escalated issues, implement system changes, and maintain documentation.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations; follow change-management procedures.
• Work on planned maintenance and occasional after-hours support as needed.
