Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA, seeks a Manager Supply Chain 1 to lead non-exempt teams across procurement to delivery on an onsite 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:00am-3:30pm). You will drive productivity, safety, and cost efficiency while coordinating cross-functionally.

The role requires a Bachelor's with 4 years (or Master's with 2) in management or related, plus active Secret clearance and willingness to obtain Program Special Access. On-site work location: Palmdale, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Management, Supply Chain, Program/Project Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business Management, OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in those areas, OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 8 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of non-exempt employees across procurement to delivery.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with QA, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc.
• Meet direct budget targets; write/update work instructions; provide performance metrics; recommend productivity improvements.
• Lead a team to support Production goals with focus on safety and cost efficiency.
• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring KPIs.
• Train and guide employees per Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics
• Collaborate with programs on material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers, including government agencies, to ensure regulatory compliance for Aeronautics Systems programs.
• Direct team activities related to program transportation, including major deliveries and specialty movements
