Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering Manager to lead the SQE team in Mason, Ohio. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Supplier Quality and ensures alignment of goals, timelines, and budgets across projects in the Sensor business.

Responsibilities include driving zero-defect, on-time delivery, auditing supplier quality systems, and interfacing with customers. Travel up to 20% may be required; security clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 9+ years related experience; graduate degree 7+ years; or 13+ years with no degree.
• 5+ years’ experience reading and interpreting complex designs/blueprints.
• 5+ years’ experience with problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, Value Stream Mapping, CAPA) and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R).

Responsibilities

• Lead SQE team to achieve Mason site goals with a focus on zero-defect, on-time delivery.
• Provide project management and training for quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal, customer, regulatory, and 3rd party requirements.
• Audit Quality Management Systems at suppliers.
• Travel up to 20% domestically.
• Drive cross-functional engagement to build quality into design and supplier processes.
• Develop and lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Interface with customers and on-site representatives.
• Apply Quality Standards (AS9100, ISO-9001, NADCAP, J-STD, IPC).
