Job summary

Focus Inc. is seeking an on-site Superintendent to lead interior and smaller construction projects (typically under $5M) in Chicago, IL. You will supervise subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and local regulations to deliver quality results.

You will work with Project Managers and senior field leadership to coordinate teams, inspections, and logistics, upholding safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience supervising construction trades.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site supervision of subcontractors, assistants, and labor teams.
• Coordinate project schedules and track progress with Project Managers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes and permits.
• Maintain daily reports and documentation in Procore.
• Coordinate inspections, submittals, RFIs, and change orders with Project Managers.
• Assist with close-out packages and warranties.
