Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Summer Internship to join our on-site team in Waukesha. You will collaborate with engineers to develop manufacturing applications, Power BI reports, API connections, and dashboards for our production processes.

The internship runs May/June–August 2027, full-time (40 hours/week) at headquarters. You’ll gain hands-on experience, build technical documentation, and expand data analytics skills under mentors on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS degree in CS/DS/ME/IE or related field.
• Exposure to MES, ERP, supply chain systems or industrial data.
• Proficiency with data analysis and scripting (Python, R, Julia).

Responsibilities

• Build MES applications, analytics and documentation.
• Support design, validation and documentation of digital solutions.
• Create scopes of work, technical docs and training materials.
• Provide development support for projects interfacing with IT data team.
• Create/modify Power BI dashboards and API integrations.
• Travel to other Generac facilities as needed.
