Job summary

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide on-site prevention and counseling within a federally supported residential youth program in Nemo, South Dakota 57759.

The role is a contract position with part-time availability up to 24 hours per week, with schedule Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, on-site in Nemo. No telehealth or remote option.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Substance Abuse Counseling certification in SD (LAC or related).
• Minimum of one year of experience with adolescents or young adults.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site substance abuse prevention, education, and counseling services.
• Deliver individual and group counseling.
• Develop and facilitate prevention and education programming.
• Engage with students in residential and common areas.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
