Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Manager, Subcontracts to lead the subcontracting team for a major on-site project. Location is Port Sulphur, LA, with responsibility for pre- and post-award activities, contract administration, and risk mitigation.

The role requires 15+ years in subcontracting, a relevant Bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills. This position emphasizes energy transition and sustainability in procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in subcontract formation and administration.
• Experience as Lead Subcontracts Manager on integrated project teams.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Decarbonization/Energy Transition sustainability emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Subcontracts team for construction activities.
• Oversee all phases of subcontracting: pre-award through closeout.
• Interface with Client, Project Management Team, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop subcontracting strategies to mitigate commercial risk.
• Ensure subcontract files and documentation meet company standards.
