Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Master of Social Work, or equivalent.
• Active, valid license through the state of Arkansas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Established, ARBOEC approved.
• Prior work with health professions graduate students.
• Strong crisis-intervention skills.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards relevant to health professions education.
• Experience working with online, hybrid, or international student populations.
• Multi-state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach, individual, group and crisis counseling for ACHE students.
• Maintain HIPAA compliant documentation and coordinate referrals.
• Establish collaborative relationships with students, faculty, staff and other groups.
• Provide crisis assessments, intervention and after-hours coverage as needed.
• Coordinate cases with the Director of Counseling and Wellness Services.
