Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and CWB certification CSA W47.1-03 for Carbon Steel (GMAW) testing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or gas-shielded arc welding.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools for metalworking.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on elevator components and structural parts.
• Review blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Set up workstation and welding equipment with fixtures and jigs.
• Secure parts and tack welds; weld with MIG, TIG, or gas-shielded arc processes.
