Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Control Manager to lead the Inventory Control team, drive continuous improvement, and manage client assets. You will oversee strategy, risk mitigation, and KPI adherence to meet service levels and commercial goals.

This on-site role requires 3+ years in logistics, strong leadership, and proven ability to develop data-driven inventory processes and reporting across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4 years Inventory Control experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience (unit pick environment, large company preferred).
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & Objective Setting required.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
• Knowledge of JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP and similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop customer relationships and partnerships to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure correct product is in the right place to meet demand and SLAs.
• Improve inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting.
• Minimize risk by focusing on inventory control and asset accounting.
• Set strategic direction for supply chain and inventory initiatives.
• Develop proactive strategies to mitigate issues in inventory control.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs per the contract.
