Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Atlanta is seeking a senior Inventory Control leader to provide direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team, supporting service agreements with the client and driving continuous improvement. You will develop customer relationships and oversee operational partnerships to optimize inventory control and asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years Inventory Control experience, Required
• 3+ years logistics industry experience, Required
• 3+ years management experience (unit pick environment, large company preferred, Required)
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience, Required
• Staff management & Objective Setting, Required
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., Required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience, Required

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPI outlined in the commercial agreement
• Oversee inventory control and planning initiatives across the client site
