Job summary

DAn Solutions in Sterling, VA seeks a Storage Systems Engineer to support on-site government storage and backup environments. You will participate in requirement analysis, design, testing, and implementation of next generation storage and backup solutions in a secure lab and production systems.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with major storage platforms, virtualization, and cloud storage, and be able to deliver tests and root-cause analyses while aligning with security requirements

Qualifications

• Experience with storage and backup systems in diverse environments.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and test implementations.
• Experience with storage platforms and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with cloud storage options and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Participating in requirement analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation of storage and backup systems.
• Collaborating with Gov Technical Leads, storage vendors, and cloud providers.
• Developing and maintaining the storage demonstration environment in the test lab.
• Developing and executing test plans for storage and backup solutions.
• Performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements.
• Providing Tier 3/4 support for storage and backup platforms.
• Ensuring systems security engineering with a Storage/SAN focus.
• Installing, monitoring, and optimizing storage solutions to achieve ATO.
