Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Storage Engineer to support government activities at Annapolis Junction, MD, Sterling, VA, or Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing storage and backup solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with Gov Technical Leads, major vendors, and cloud providers to evaluate technologies, build a demonstration environment, and develop robust test plans. ATO readiness and security engineering are key priorities.

Qualifications

• Provide storage and backup engineering for government projects.
• Engage in requirement analysis, design, testing and implementation of storage systems.
• Collaborate with Gov Tech Leads, vendors and cloud providers on storage techs.
• Develop and maintain a test lab and storage demos.
• Create and execute test plans for storage/backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for major issues and propose improvements.
• Offer storage upgrade recommendations and assist system integration.
• Provide Tier 3/4 support for storage and backup platforms.
• Conduct system security engineering focused on storage and SAN.
• Install, monitor and optimize storage solutions to achieve ATO.
