Job summary

Outdoor Perspective is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant based in Lowell, MA. You will manage day-to-day accounting tasks including GL entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborating with operations and leadership, you’ll support month-end and year-end closing, generate financial reports, and help ensure policy compliance. On-site role with room to grow within a professional, client-focused landscaping company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GL, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience AP, vendor management, 3-way matching, and compliance.
• Experience AR, invoicing, billing, revenue recognition, and collections.
• Payroll processing experience with ADP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; Aspire is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.
• On-site in Lowell, MA; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of tax, payroll, regulatory requirements; construction/landscaping sector a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, record transactions, and reconcile accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payroll processing.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain general ledger and assist with financial reporting and budget tracking.
• Provide financial data to management for decision-making and strategic planning.
