Job summary

Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club, LLC is seeking a Corporate Paralegal for the Sports Division to provide comprehensive legal and operational support. You will handle routine contract matters, maintain contract management systems, and collaborate with in-house counsel and outside counsel to support business needs.

The role requires a paralegal background with at least three years' experience, strong knowledge of legal terminology, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or paralegal training from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally in-house.
• Experience with case management or document management systems.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and formatting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and manage form agreements and other legal documents under attorney supervision, including form agreements.
• Manage routine contract matters from intake through execution, including coordinating internal review and approvals.
• Assist with development and improvement of standard contract templates, clauses, playbooks, and processes.
• Organize and maintain the contract management system with master administrator.
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas and records requests.
• Support litigation, claims, disputes, including coordination with outside counsel.
• Assist with insurance and claims matters.
• Assist with intellectual property matters, including trademark applications and renewals.
• Maintain organized legal department files and matter trackers.
• Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and other materials for attorney review.
• Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and case law.
• Identify opportunities to improve legal processes and use of technology.
• Provide project and administrative support to the Legal Department.
