Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time, school-based role in Rock Hill, SC. You will provide individualized instruction, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

On-site position with guaranteed hours and a supportive framework. Requirements include a degree in Special Education and SC licensure/credentialing, plus experience with IDEA and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• State licensure/certification in Special Education for South Carolina
• Experience with IDEA, IEP development and progress monitoring
• Ability to provide individualized and differentiated instruction

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ needs
• Manage assigned caseload and coordinate services
• Conduct assessments and evaluations as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate progress reports and educational records
